Frequently Asked Questions

How much does ATVC cost for the season?

The short answer is $1800 for the season plus the $150 commitment fee. The Club Dues may be a little more or less depending on how many players are on a team. $1800 is based on a 10-player team. More details about costs and fee breakdowns are in the Club Manual under our Forms + Document page. 

Why are tryouts later than other clubs?

ATVC follows all regulations determined by USA Volleyball which states that the Evaluation Window opens July 9th and the Acceptance Date is July 12th for the 2022-23 season. ATVC will make verbal offers at tryouts on July 10th and offers may be formally accepted through the Online Commitment System on July 12th. 

When are practices?

Practices will be twice a week, starting in December, through the last scheduled tournament (typically mid- to late April). ATVC understands that many players are involved in other extracurricular activities. Practice days will be determined based on the availability of the majority of the players on each team.

How many teams will there be?

ATVC's goal is to create teams that are competitive, successful, and provide growth for every player. Our aim is to have 10 players on each team, however, teams will not be formed with less than 9 or more than 12 players. 

When do Club Dues have to be paid?

Club Dues may be paid in full or by a four-month payment plan. The first payment will be due November 1st, then on the first of December, January, and February.
